Joy Filled Foods

Get Joy, Give Joy

Founded in 2020, Joy Filled Foods is on a mission to create delicious food with a purpose. This is because when customers buy their locally-made, artisan snacks, they Get Joy and Give Joy. The company commits a portion of every sale – thousands of dollars to date – to charitable organizations focused on uplifting children and underserved communities around the world.

Part of the Goodness Grows in North Carolina (GGINC) program, Joy Filled Foods is equally committed to creating high-quality products from carefully sourced ingredients. From spiced and glazed nuts to chocolate-covered clusters and cheddar cheese straws, Joy Filled Foods’ products are made fresh daily in the company’s Goldsboro, North Carolina facility.

Who We Are

A businessman with a heart for life-changing ministry, Wayne Boswell launched Joy Filled Foods in 2020. Today the company is mostly family operated by Wayne, his wife, Angie, and their children. Before Joy Filled Foods, Wayne held careers in retail as a buyer for a small shoe store and in pharmaceuticals. In his spare time, Wayne worked with and supported Farrell Farms, a nonprofit organization started to support the KW Methodist Children’s Home in La Paz, Bolivia. The children’s home, which served abandoned, abused and orphaned children in a loving Christian home, had to close due to factors outside the organization’s control. From this central mission of serving children and survivors, Joy Filled Foods was born.

How We Serve

Since its founding, Joy Filled Foods has supported local and international organizations committed to helping children and people in need. As the company continues to grow, Joy Filled Foods will expand its mission to support more life-transforming charities.

In addition to providing safe housing and education to help survivors escape trafficking, Cry Freedom operates a boutique in Downtown Goldsboro. The shoppe, which carries Joy Filled Foods products as well as jewelry and other items made by survivors, helps fund Cry Freedom safe houses.
