We are featuring one of our vendors every month, Our May Monthly Maker is Rogue Provisions! They will be hosting a tasting at our store located at 401 South Front Street, New Bern, NC on May 23rd, stop by and try some free samples of their sauce!

"Rogue Provisions is a bold Southern brand founded in 2023 by Chef Tom Armstrong. Built on decades of culinary experience and a deep respect for Southern foodways, Rogue Provisions deconstructs classic Southern flavors and reimagines them with a modern, offbeat perspective.

Chef Tom began his culinary journey in Yellowstone National Park in 1996 before returning to North Carolina with a singular mission: learn from the best. He earned positions at Mitchell’s Catering and Second Empire (Raleigh, NC), Oak Creek Brewery & Grill (Sedona, AZ), and Noble’s Grille (Winston-Salem, NC), and staged at the world-renowned Le Bernardin in New York City. From 2006–2025, he served as Chef and General Manager of Vinnie’s Steak House & Tavern in Raleigh, building not just a restaurant, but a loyal community.

 

After 19 years leading Vinnie’s, Tom set out to create something more personal and more expressive. Rogue Provisions was born from that desire — a brand steeped in Southern culture, packed with unpredictable twists, and grounded in real ingredients, real purpose, and zero compromise.
